Lior Kreimer says he has always felt respected at Cyclone – even in cases where he wasn’t sure his contribution was even noticed. A few years ago, he shared Cyclone’s award of excellence and this year won the presidential honors award for outstanding service, due to his work as head of joint administration and head of the civilian department.
My story
Lior was born in the Krayot, where he lives to this day with his wife Talia, and daughters Noa (10), and Michal (2).
Six years ago, he joined the Division as a production engineer on a 787 plane project; then co-developed a project with Elop, from the ISTAR and EW Division.
In 2019, he was appointed as the technical manager of a project with ATC, Cyclone’s subsidiary in Georgia. “The project was complicated, we had a range of challenges to deal with and I’m grateful for its success,” he says. After that, Lior was appointed to lead the technical area, which included the responsibility for all civilian composite-material projects, working with leading companies such as Boeing, Spirit, and Bombardier.
About a year ago, the Division was restructured and Lior was appointed as co-leader alongside his counterpart on the military side. He is responsible for leading the engineering aspect of various projects, driving efficiency processes, training engineers, and of course, routine management. “Changes in administration gave us greater responsibility and power, as well as the ability to influence the agenda and be part of future developments at the company.”
