Madison Hitt, Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence and Homeland Security (C4I & HLS) business at Elbit America, has made a memorable impact during his five-year journey here.
My story
After earning a degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington, Madison worked at Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie for five years. When he felt it was time for a career change, a source of inspiration was his father, Kevin Hitt.
“My dad has devoted over three decades to Elbit America,” Madison said. “He values our mission and appreciates the opportunities he’s had to support America’s warfighters. I knew this would be the right company for me and, thankfully, that has proven to be true.”
Madison has filled what is the equivalent of two full-time roles. His official job title, Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, requires him to prepare and oversee budgets for programs undertaken within the C4I & HLS business unit. This also entails preparing and presenting financial reports for both the programs and for the business unit as a whole.
As the leader of the project accounting stream on the OneERP project, Madison coordinated with ESL to adapt OneERP for Elbit America’s U.S.-based Division, customizing it to meet unique requirements. Even during the pandemic and physical separation, his communication and teamwork skills excelled, and he maintained strong collaboration with colleagues in the U.S. and Israel.
Beyond finance, Madison finds solace in the vibrant tapestry of life. Balancing his roles as a husband and father, he enjoys outdoor escapades like hunting and fishing. Nature recharges his spirit and fuels his thirst for adventure. And when it comes to music, the pulsating beats of country superstars like Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs dominate his playlist. Anchoring his journey is an unbreakable faith, providing guidance and a wellspring of strength.
