Steve’s career took an unexpected turn when a KMC Systems medical Division project he was working on was red-lighted. But, he embraced the challenge and transitioned to the defense side of the company. With an infectious energy, he declared, “I love the team and the work so I said, ‘I’m not going back! I’m staying on the defense side.’”
My story
A career in the aerospace and defense industry was not a sure path for Steve. A talented musician, he started playing bass guitar with a rock band when he was in high school, touring with the band for nearly 10 years. He also ran live sound at outdoor concerts in the U.S. and spent three months in Japan running sound for a rock band. After this experience, Steve said, “It was time for a career change and back to school to prepare for a ‘real’ job.”
Steve brings a vibrant and dynamic perspective to his role at Elbit America. His creativity and diverse experiences shine in the realm of user interface development, where he crafted a comprehensive document that serves as a guiding light for effectively communicating intricate details to the development team.
In three years, Steve has excelled in surpassing customer expectations on his projects. He’s all about delivering the best product and leaving a lasting impression. As he puts it, “Perception is a crucial aspect of what we provide. We aim to be the leading choice, offering an outstanding experience that sets us apart from the competition.”
When it comes to work and life, Steve is a true rock star. He keeps the positive vibes flowing and tackles challenges head-on.
Outside the office, Steve knows how to have fun. with nearly two decades of wedded bliss and three incredibly talented children who share his passion for music. He actively volunteers in the local school district’s music program, rocking the sound system and capturing unforgettable concert moments.
